Being productive with people you don’t like

I don’t like hippies. Extreme liberals make me sick. Most military people, I have my reservations there too. I’m not racist, but I sure as hell have prejudices. I don’t like rich kids. I don’t like stuffed shirts. I’ve met a lot of women I couldn’t stand. There are people that literally turn my stomach. I don’t mean to be rude, but what I’m about to say wouldn’t mean much if I couldn’t say that I don’t like a lot of people.

And here it is: if you’re going to do much of anything in this life, you’re probably going to work with these people and you might even need them to work for you. So the faster you can get over the fact that you’re not going to like everybody, the better. You know, you hear all the time, not everybody is going to like you. But the tougher part, to me anyway, is you’re not going to like everybody either. And you’ve still got to influence them.
